Custom Order Policy

Please read through the following policies and terms to avoid disappointment in your custom order.

Custom items at Good Day Sunshine are orderable through our secure shopping cart, by entering any color and/or size choices, and clicking the "add to cart" button next to the item style you'd like. Any special requests can be made in the 'special instructions' box at checkout.

Each piece is custom-made by choosing the fabrics in your color choices, then individually cutting each item out one-at-a-time, hand-drawing appliques, hand-crocheting hats & bikinis, and sizing each piece just for you, by Emily of Good Day Sunshine.

Because of the individual attention given to each item, we ask that you allow 4-5 weeks for turnaround and delivery. Items do not take 4-5 weeks to be made, but, due to demade for custom items, we carry a list of custom orders to be made, therefore the turnaround time.

If due to circumstances beyond our control, this process is going to be delayed longer than this, we will contact you by e-mail or phone to let you know.

As with most stores that offer custom goods, we require that payment is recieved for a custom item before we begin a piece. This allows us to use our time wisely, keep our prices fair, and turnaround times manageable. :)

Please take and enter your measurements carefully! Each item is made to fit the measurements or sizes provided by you. If alterations are needed (and if they are possible), there is a $10 per hour charge along with return shipping charges.
