We've been making soap and shipping it out like crazy just to keep up!  So happy we are able to be busy and successful doing what we love, while spending so much time with our family. 

The past month or so has been especially busy- we've made and packaged too many bars to count!

Because the air is cooler, and we're making soap in the new soap room, the soap reacts in peculiar ways...We have to use heat to bring the loaves to a full gel.  They cool and harden much faster.  Even the texture of the "batter" is different.  Not better or worse, just different.

I've never really noticed this difference, because I'd make a few batches a month and be done.  Yeah, the summer ones took longer and hurried through their process, and the winter ones had to be coaxed along....but using the properties the weather is allowing is bringing about some beautiful new designs!

Winter's here.  You can hear it, smell it, see it and feel it.  Thank goodness we don't get much if any snow!  We're stuck inside a bit more with the longer nights, and keeping busy inside usually means creating.  :)  Fun!

We've been working on:

~beaded necklaces, wire wraps, and pendants- these make great gifts and stocking stuffers

~ felted soaps, new balms, creams, and body butters for problem skin types.  When you work with nature and accept your skin's living breathing personality, issues such as dryness, itching, and flaking level out and can be fixed.

~ Crochet Goodies -hats, tams, scarves, armwarmers, and more...Lovin' to cuddle up under a blanket and create!
